Colorful Holiday Frame
To make this fantasy frame, Wendy Borchert of Whitefish Bay, WI started with miniature ornaments and items snipped from seasonal garlands. She filled in with a variety of tiny treasures—sparkly snowflake buttons, jingle bells, dime store holiday lapel pins, and beads of all shapes and sizes.
Raid your attic or shop a rummage sale for materials, then frame a Christmas-themed photo, child’s drawing or special poem for an extra-meaningful gift.
Materials
- Picture frame with flat front, any size
- Enough small ornaments and trims to cover frame
- Clear-drying glue (Wendy used Weldbond)
Directions
- Arrange ornaments and trims around frame as desired and glue them in place. Let dry.
