Deck the Logs

When it comes to cozy, you can't beat a cabin at Christmas.

Laura Hopkins-Cockroft’s log home stands in a meadow just outside Salina, KS. Ever since she and husband Richard (below, with their dog, “Bentley”) built it in 2005, on his family’s farm, she’s enjoyed filling it with antiques found at auctions, flea markets, garage sales and even castoffs. Their home shines brightest during the holidays, with firelight and candlelight reflecting warmly off the wood. Come take a peek!

Laura winds grapevines, tiny icicle lights around overhead beams.
